WE ARE CUSTODIANS OF THE PLANET AND HAVE A DUTY TO CARE FOR IT.
For the past 18 years I've had the privilege of watching and caring for the resident Swans on our local river estuary. I have been charmed and fascinated by their parental skills and beauty in the water, they are Simply Superb Swans.

Merryton Heron
With High tides this week the Heron's fishing ground at merryton bridge has it's limitations.
With Christmas only a few weeks away and the wintery conditions, the Heron looked a Scrooge like figure on the bridge today Pinched and hunched with the cold ! Surprisngly, he let me get quite close before flying upstream.
Great shot Joe, haven't seen much of Heron recently. Glad to see him safe n well ;) . Elaine
ReplyDeleteIt's the first time Iv'e ever seen him standing on the handrail ! There are another 3 or 4 between here and Howford bridge.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot same as my mum really i haven't seen him for 2-3 weeks :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Maybe Fagin would have been more appropriate than Scrooge !
