WE ARE CUSTODIANS OF THE PLANET AND HAVE A DUTY TO CARE FOR IT.
For the past 18 years I've had the privilege of watching and caring for the resident Swans on our local river estuary. I have been charmed and fascinated by their parental skills and beauty in the water, they are Simply Superb Swans.

Swans Saltire Symphony
As promised, some of the mating session shots I was fortunate enough to witness the other day. I took a total sequence of 37 shots in all , and may publish more in future. Enjoy !
To anon at 14.08 who made a comment on exhibition and Swan facts, and Saltire Swans. Regarding the Swans egg you found in a lake, if the egg was already being incubated then the embryo would be dead if it was submerged for even a short period of time. If it was not being incubated and was recently laid, then it could possibly be incubated if it was returned to the nest. You dont say whether there was a nest close by ?
These photographs are wonderful and something people walking by river might miss. A big thank you.
ReplyDeleteNice to Know my photo's are appreciated by some.
