WE ARE CUSTODIANS OF THE PLANET AND HAVE A DUTY TO CARE FOR IT. For the past 18 years I've had the privilege of watching and caring for the resident Swans on our local river estuary. I have been charmed and fascinated by their parental skills and beauty in the water, they are Simply Superb Swans. Annual Membership to the River Nairn Swans and Waterfowl Trust is £20 for a family, can be paid securely through the PayPal Donate button below. Thank you.

Still Snookered
After 10 days with the wing bandaged, I was bitterly disappointed to see the Seagulls wing drop down a couple of minutes after removing the bandage. He did managed to flick it up an inch or so which was an improvement on the previous state. After a chat to Sue my Avian advser, she suggested wrapping it up for another 10 days since it might only be muscle damage. The bird is otherwise in good form and runs around trying to stretch and flap his wings, he is also playing with sticks and stones. So today I threw a small rubber ball which he eagerly grabbed.
