As I expected, Penny had another cygnet to hatch bringing the total to 8.
All of them have now taken to the water.
This makes it 48 surviving cygnets to date over the past 7 seasons.
I was fortunate to see them take to the water as I was just about to head home.
Enjoy some of the special moments that I experienced.
Great pictures Joe, got a good look today. Was laughing at them preening away as they came out the water. already learning the ways of a swan!
