WE ARE CUSTODIANS OF THE PLANET AND HAVE A DUTY TO CARE FOR IT. For the past 18 years I've had the privilege of watching and caring for the resident Swans on our local river estuary. I have been charmed and fascinated by their parental skills and beauty in the water, they are Simply Superb Swans. Annual Membership to the River Nairn Swans and Waterfowl Trust is £20 for a family, can be paid securely through the PayPal Donate button below. Thank you.

Togetherness
Popeye and Penny are like two peas in a pod just now, enjoying their new found freedom.
An abundance of winter food supply in the form of Carrots, Wheat, mixed wild bird seed, poultry pellets, and wholemeal all being shared, with no Cygnets muscling in.
The togetherness is literally touching. They are looking like marble and in excellent condition, they can look forward to several months of peace and recovery time before the spring.
As Parent swans go, they keep their cygnets longer than most, although it is sad to see them go - they got a good start on life's journey.
