River Pollution - UPDATE.

Scottish Water have told me they will investigate.

Another pollution incident yesterday just above the Nairn A96 roadbridge, don't know what it was but sure it shouldn't be going into the river !

Appears to be coming from a fractured or blocked pipe above the Main sewer. I have informed SEPA and Scottish water.
Our 109  Trust members would like to see this fixed !

Well spotted Joe - as an angler, its good to see you are keeping the interest of the fish as well as the wildlife alive. Keep up the good work.

i find it very hard to believe that last comment came from an angler written to the man who wanted fishing banned at the harbour !!! strange indeed

There is nothing strange about the anglers comment. I have always tackled the question of river pollution whenever it occurs. Banning fishing IN THE HARBOUR, in my opinion would prevent injuries to the swans. Most Nairn Anglers would probably agree with that.
