After 3 weeks The Scottish SPCA finally delivered Popeye back to Nairn. Scottish SPCA inspector Aileen, managed to give me Popeye at 4pm today, after a long journey from Fishcross which was delayed due to the pick up of a seal from Hopeman.
It was a little too late in the day to take him down to the river for release, so he will spend the night in the Trust Aviary and be released in the morning.
He is looking good but a little subdued after the long journey.
Trust secretary Morag and myself will escort him down to the river to reunite him with his family in the morning.
