Our intrepid new Trust Secretary, has designed an eco friendly fully compostable Swans greetings card. These can be purchased now from The Nairn Bookshop who will kindly take no commission to benefit the local river bird life.
The Trust is very grateful to the Artist Isla Mae Jacobs, and The Nairn Bookshop. Artistic and carbon neutral cards, good for the environment and the Swans too !

Hi Joe, I love the Swan greeting cards! Mavis at The Nairn Bookshop has been marvellous and she is sending me four in the post to Newton-Le-Willows, Merseyside. Hope the extra funds will help you and the Trust to care for your swans. Sue and Slim look as if they are doing a grand job with caring for their cygnets. Ours here on the disused Sankey canal are bigger than the size of mature ducks now. They are about to enter the ‘ugly duckling’ phase and grow some ‘feathers all stubby and brown’!

Hi Wendy, Glad you like the Greetings card, Mavis is an extremely helpful and nice person, well thought of in the Town. Previously sold the Trust calendars as well. Thanks for your continued support. Sounds like your cygnets are a little more advanced than ours, they do grow quickly. I shall be putting disco's 17 ducklings into the river in the morning, they are currently running around the garden flexing their wings...time to go!
