WE ARE CUSTODIANS OF THE PLANET AND HAVE A DUTY TO CARE FOR IT. For the past 18 years I've had the privilege of watching and caring for the resident Swans on our local river estuary. What wonderful photographs. Thank you for posting.
Seems the Harbour is the place to be if your an outcast :D. Swans were up at the island tonight and cygnets were along side the 7 ducklings in the harbour!
Aye, Glad you enjoy the pics. The harbour has it's uses, even for the wildlife. Normally very safe, but can be a death trap if the Mink or Otter's are fishing there. I'm hoping the ducklings will get more confident soon and join all the other ducks up river. They are 10 weeks old and should now be able to fly out of harms way. The break between the cygnets and parents is all but complete, so leaving should not be a big problem, except a tinge of sadness from me and a few others!
