Heron Fishing
With River conditions so low, only the Heron is actively fishing.
What little rain we've had is no where near enough to water the garden, let alone raise the river level.
The Heron caught 2 fish within five minutes, and the ducklings are surviving well in the Summer conditions.

Happy Heron
One of the best months for the Heron fishing is the Month of May
Thousands of Salmon Parr head for the lower reaches and the Heron is in his element,
he also has no competition because angling is banned during this month to protect the stocks.
A few shots taken over the last couple of evenings - fading light and auto setting means definition is poor, but I think the action is
unmistakable.
