Swans Saltire Symphony

As promised, some of the mating session shots I was fortunate enough to witness the other day. I took a total sequence of 37 shots in all , and may publish more in future. Enjoy !

To anon at 14.08 who made a comment on exhibition and Swan facts, and Saltire Swans.
Regarding the Swans egg you found in a lake, if the egg was already being incubated then the embryo would be dead if it was submerged for even a short period of time. If it was not being incubated and was recently laid, then it could possibly be incubated if it was returned to the nest. You dont say whether there was a nest close by ?
