I have started sprinkling bird seed along a river wall again for the winter months. The thick undergrowth along the wall is ideal for small birds, and hosts many Sparrows, Dunnock and a very cheeky Robin. Today the Robin put on a show for the new camera, payback for all the winter feeding I think ! They are one of the nations common but
favourite winter birds, fearless but cute ! The last shot shows what happens when a bird moves as the shutter goes, his legs are in focus but the body is a blur !
