Looking Good

The Pen is looking good and flexed her wings to reveal lots of nice new feathers. I reckon she should be able to take to the air in about 10 days if needs be. The cob is casting his feathers all over the place and will be grounded for 6 weeks, all of them are now flightless until the pen takes off. Steven the seagull is about to be unwrapped tomorrow, I am filled with trepidation as to whether his hanging wing will be fixed and usable. He seems to have been very comfortable with the bandage for the past 10 days and has made no attempt to peck or remove it. He enjoyed a bath then relaxed with his bodyguard Millie !

Nice to get some blue sky and a bit of sun for a change, some tourists enjoyed taking pics of our River wildlife.
