With this Months high spring tides for the next few days, the river Waterbirds are spreading out and starting to nest. The Swans too were in a mating mood today, and duly obliged as I passed by. The sequence of mating shots is self explanatory, the closeness and devotion plain to see, nesting should commence soon.

I really wish you wouldn't publish what is in effect bird porn. Even wild birds have the right to some privacy
Like I said on my previous comment, you are obviously not a birder. I will certainly not be publishing any more of your ignorant comments.
Much as I like looking at your blog Joe I tend to agree with Birder in this matter. I don't think she/he was being ignorant, just stating that by publishing all these photos of birds mating you are disrespecting their privacy and also I know some quite young children look at your photos as well. Please consider at least limiting the number of photos and videos you post of such matters as to some they are quite offensive and unnecessary
Sorry but I stand by my assertion that ignorance was the correct word to use. The writer displayed that in both comments, because they were not present and I was, and they displayed no knowledge of our river, seaside or our swans. I have given much time and effort to caring for our wildlife and take exception to describing any of my photo's as "porn". Following the lives of our Swans acurately and recording their activities is what my blog has been all about. According to "birder" watching Swan lake at Covent garden must be really bad taste.
I would have thought, my blog could easily be used for educational purposes regarding the birds and bees...considering what trash is beamed into people's homes nowadays !
